The energy calculator can be read remotely using a wide variety of communication protocols. With the possibility to utilise up to four of Kamstrup’s generation 3 modules, the MULTICAL® 803 provides more flexibility and versatility than ever before.
In addition, the meter is IP65-approved and resistant to dust and moisture, reducing the negative impact from harsh environments and thus opening up for an even wider range of possible applications.

The wide temperature range enables the utilization of MULTICAL® throughout the distribution network, giving you the benefit of only having to operate and maintain one type of meter regardless if it is placed in a substation, industrial application or in a private residence.

The wide flow range of MULTICAL® and ULTRAFLOW® gives you the opportunity to have the benefits of high accuracy and long-term stability on a full scale in your distribution network. Furthermore, MULTICAL® 803 is prepared for even higher flow rates of up to 15.000 m³/h, which gives you the opportunity to introduce even lager flow meters into your Kamstrup system.
The MULTICAL® 803 calculator can be adapted for mixed fluids and can operate in sub-zero temperatures, with a temperature range of -40…+140 °C. In applications where sub-zero temperatures can be expected it is important to select temperature sensors and flow sensor with a suitable temperature range. Mixed fluids have a lower specific heat capacity compared to that of water. Kamstrups mixed fluid calculator variant can compensate for this and thereby provide precise measurements regardless of the chemical composition in the installation.
In order to ensure a high accuracy regardless of the chemical composition, the MULTICAL® 803 can compensate for the unique specific heat capacity in each application. Variant ”M” (mixed fluids) is compatible with the most commonly used antifreeze liquids, e.g. ethylene glycol and propylene glycol.
